tête started in March 2012 in the former TÄT art space on Schönhauser Allee. It is an experiment in how to run an art space, artist run spaces usually being about collective decision making, tête is looking to create a cross section of artistic interests and will investigate as well as deconstruct any idea of ownership and community in the art space and between the artist organisers themselves. With this in mind, tête has the potential, even destiny, to become an art space as social experiment. The world would not be as interesting and dynamic if economic or financial arrangements remained exclusively economic or financial.
