Die raum is a 5m2 exhibition space in Oderberger Straße run by Jesper Dyrehauge and Lotte Møller in collaboration with BAR architects. The project space was designed as an integral part of the house which contains other functional spaces including workshops, studios, a cafe, a shop and apartments. Every project in die raum is accompanied by an edition of posters in collaboration with the exhibiting artist. This tiny space for ideas imposes limitations on the work it shows, leading to many unexpected projects and challenges - including trying to fit a caravan into the space! Die raum is non profit, the Danish curators often collaborating with creative friends to complete a project. This space is worth seeing for the building alone, with its variety of projects housed under one roof.
