KRONENBODEN
What sounds like a new art word is a very old concept. A crown floor is actually the attic above the auditorium, where the chandelier is drawn to light or extinguish the candles - and remove it from the perspective of the spectators in the higher ranks. All in all, a simple room with a chandelier. And a space for art. Art in communication. This space concentrates mainly on the interplay of fine art and theater. Karen Stuke, a photo artist and initiator of the crown floor, presents photography, painting, sculptures and installations. Since the end of February 2008, concerts, readings and similar events have been held here.
Besides regular exhibitions featuring photography, painting, sculpture and installations, Kronenboden also hosts readings, classical concerts with leading international musicians and similar events.
