Founded in April 2004. The Prima Center is a non-profit project space for cultural programs, exhibitions, and projects. It is a meeting point for artists, art historians, and curators. Along with changing exhibitions, Prima Center Berlin offers a diverse program of readings, performances, video screenings, and lectures. The Prima Center Berlin is focused on exhibitions of South-East European artists and especially artists from the Balkan area. The Prima Center Berlin is furthermore a project space for artists from Berlin who are looking for a space for presentation within the art scene.
