Display
DISPLAY is a project space founded in 2016 by Paul Polaris and Marie DuPasquier, as a junction point between an artist and a curator. The artist’s workshop and exhibition room are considered as transitory space, where creation, experimentation, representation and questioning contemporary artistic and curatorial practice can be done simultaneously.
Display embodies a (meta)physical and discursive transmission. The exhibition space, Vitrine, is a contact zone between different actors, artists and curators, an intermediary space between inside and outside, seen and unseen. Artists are regularly invited to take possession of the showcase and/or the space and create a site-specific project, while, together with the curatorial team, they interrogate the transformation processes of artistic and curatorial practices.
