In addition to the 8 double- solo shows and 2 curated group shows a year, Axel Obiger presents a supporting program of performances, readings, discussions and artist talks. One key aspect is the collaboration with guest artists, which are staged in a open form of dialog with one artist from the gallery. In this manner the several artistic context and ways to work are elucidated in order to intensify the exchange between different positions. Axel Obiger is  tracing scientific discourses in our group shows and open-ended experiments  - issues f.e.: Burn Out, sociological icons in body and language, consumption, authorship and identity. Axel Obiger exclusively shows contemporary work.
