In her photographic and film work, Katya Gardea Browne (*Mexico 1971) explores different ecosystems in her Mexican homeland. As if breaking a narrative pattern and working against the chronological order, she makes use of her photographic records of chosen landscapes to create what she calls a “panoramic image of environmental destruction”.
