How should we think about the unity and at the same time the difference between nature and spirit, as was already the case in the 18th century, and what consequences does this have for the way we deal with nature today? According to Bruno Latour, Caspar David Friedrich can be called a visionary of the Anthropocene. His relevance remains unbroken and represents an ideal starting point for a variety of artistic references, which will engage in a process-orientated critical discourse on the opening evening. Let's celebrate his 250th birthday together.
