14.00 Atonal Berlin @ Kraftwerk

WHY: For its closing night concert Berlin Atonal bids farewell with Z''ev, Jacaszek and Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble - shows based around live instrumentation and experimentation. Day program includes a lecture on early audio-visual practice within the spectrum of noise, a presentation of the ideas and processes behind “computer music for hooligans”, and a performative installation. The closing party takes place in Shift with Deadbeat, Mike Shannon and Jeff Milligan.

WHY: Node opens its doors to the public to present the Summer curatorial residents' workspace and aspects of their current research. They have paired up with Berlin-based artists to illuminate the research and references behind the practice of each of these artists', without showing any artwork. The curators' individual desks will serve as a device for presenting the typically unseen content behind an artist's work.

WHY: Bite Club is the new place to enjoy local trader’s treat foods and drinks twice a month, starting this Friday with newest and best of Berlin’s food traders and trucks, accompanied by two fully-stocked bars, a wine bar and a pop-up Pampero rum bar. 19.00 "The Missing Link" @ Atelierhaus Mengerzeile

WHY: Featuring paintings, sculpture, installation, video, 'The Missing Link’ at Kunsthalle M3 is the second cycle in a series which began with the exhibition ‘Equinox’ in March 2013 in Paris. Patrick Guidot and Charlotte Lepelletier have developed their own instinctive pictorial language within their respective art practices. Drawing on line, gesture, mark-making and materiality as a site of meaning, Guidot and Lepelletier engage with various mediums to explore their process driven practice.

19.00 Go Itami - "Study" @ Motto

WHY: "Study" is the name of the photo book by the Japanese photographer Go Itami, which will be launched along with a photo exhibition. The book is published by Rondade, a Tokyo based independent music and art label founded with the intention to bring various artforms back to their original basic drive of creation. The launch night also marks the kick-off of Rondade's pop-up shop at Motto.
