Peles Empire was founded in 2005 in Frankfurt's Red Light District as a weekly salon referencing the historicist Peleș Castle in Romania. This developed into an exhibition space in which artistic positions are shown. Following London, Los Angeles, Cluj, and Istanbul, the space has existed in Neukölln since 2016.
