Agora is a cross-disciplinary project space situated in an Alt-Bau stand-alone building in Berlin-Neukölln. Agora’s mission is to provide a physical platform for people and projects. Agora holds within its facilities a restaurant, art studios, event spaces, co-working areas and silent zones. The building of Agora is curated in order to explore the notions of the social – developing methodologies of how to work together as well as community experiments using art and food as catalysts for encounters.
Agora is the house of Agora Collective e.V. – a non-profit organization/art collective that develops the residency program AFFECT, the festival Agora COLLECTS, the performance series FOREPLAY, exhibition projects and an educational program.
