Romanian Cultural Institute (RKI Berlin)
The Romanian Cultural Institute in Berlin (RKI Berlin) was founded in 2003 and is one of the 19 cultural institutes worldwide, promoting Romanian arts and culture abroad. Alongside actions that pertain to cultural diplomacy, the programme of the institute covers visual and performing arts, film, literature, music, architecture and design. As well as hosting its own events, the Institute offers support for other groups organising Romanian related initiatives in Germany. Situated in the heart of Berlin, the gallery of the Romanian Cultural Institute (RKI Galerie) aims is to showcase Romanian contemporary art and to encourage exchange between Romanian artists and German art institutions.
