Grew up in a small farmers village in the east of Holland. Started illegally working at the age of 15 in a cafe that was home to many artists. This made her realize there is more in life than beers and cows. She exchanged her hometown for Rotterdam to study at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy. In 2011 she interned at Bpigs and started independently organizing exhibitions. It took her until 2014 to realize that Despina was right by saying she would come back to Berlin. She is now combining working for Bpigs with organising Conversas, a series of weekly informal meetings, and studying Cultures of the Curatorial at the HGB in Leipzig. She believes that art and electronic music are Berlin's best ingredients.
