The Bikini Berlin - directly located at the Berlin Zoo - is one of the few still preserved contemporary eyewitnesses to the eventful history of post-war Berlin. From 1977 to 1993 it was also the location of the Staatliche Kunsthalle Berlin. After its reopening in 2014 and with the new exhibition area speacially built in the first floor, the Bikini Berlin remains one of the main attractions of the City west.
