Dorothée Nilsson Gallery
Dorothée Nilsson, who has directed the Berlin location of Grundemark Nilsson Gallery from 2010 until its closure in 2017, continues her work under her own name at Potsdamer Str. 65 in Berlin. Dorothée Nilsson Gallery carries its predecessor’s international portfolio forward with a focus on the new generation of photography-based artists, rounded out by established icons from Scandinavia. The gallery represents artists who use photography as a starting point for conceptual and interdisciplinary practices that span performance, sculpture, and installation. The gallery program encompasses a broad spectrum of approaches, ranging from experimental approaches to the photographic medium to critical engagements with representation and social issues.
