Berlin; the city of sex-positvity, a playground for pushing social boundaries and sexual experimentation. At least this is its reputation and how it is portrayed. But what does sex-positivity mean? And does this promise live up to the practice?
Two guest speakers will discuss these questions. We will focus on the the city's nightlife and rave culture, sexual health support structures as well as drug and sex work policies. What is at risk when sex-positivity becomes a profit-generating strategy? How does this impact our safety and how does it shape experiences of intimacy with others?

Ahmed Awadalla is a Berlin-based writer, sex educator and the founder of the initiative Decolonizing Sexual Health.
