Music Tips 09.12 - 22.12
Christmas screams in our ears everywhere we go, and everyone seems to be slowing down with happenings while having a kick out of jingle bell jazz at fairs and markets. But worry not; our slightly starved pre-holiday list is going to grow stronger again in 2015, and until then, enjoy the cold nights at hot parties, and maybe even discover some new places to call your favorite in the new year.

THURSDAY 18.12
19.00 Feed Frequencies 121814: Robert Lippok & Jan Jelinek @ KW
WHY: FEED Frequencies December Edition presents two very familiar names in the sound art domain: Robert Lippok and Jan Jelinek. Bypassing the rules of traditional musicianship, Jan Jelinek prefers to construct collages from tiny sound fragments, from the lost-and-found products of samplers, tape recorders, media players and other recording implements. Robert Lippok's synth modelled settings drop listeners into a new yet familiar world. His tendency to visualize the sound stems from his background in installation and set design.
