It must be so complicated to choose what the first exhibition of a new space will be… You want it to be special, unexpected. And most importantly, you don't want to put a label on your space and have it stuck to you. But we think Anne and Johanna's choice is quite surprising and daring.
Indeed, under the names of the five artists on show, there is one common point : ceramics. But as the title of the exhibition – derived from Björk's song – suggests it, ceramics are not always as kitschy and cute as one would think.
One of the goals of the "Lab" is to experiment, and their modern take on a material used since millenia will certainly surprise you – the intended effect. So let yourself be surprised, and see you there...
