Dittrich & Schlechtriem
DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM, founded in 2011, is a partnership between entrepreneur Lars Dittrich and André Schlechtriem, the former curator of the Judith Rothschild Foundation Contemporary Drawing Collection in New York, acquired by MOMA NY’s permanent collection.
In January 2017, the gallery’s continued dedication to and increased support of innovative emerging and established artists has allowed for the evolution of it’s program and re-location within Berlin-Mitte to the expanded gallery space at Linienstrasse 23. With up to 8 exhibitions per year, DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM cultivates substantial relationships with German and international collectors that support, protect and enhance the artist’s presence and involvement in leading discourses on contemporary art. In addition to facilitating the publishing of artist monographs, exhibition catalogs, and commissioned essays, DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM regularly engages with institutional and curatorial projects, enhancing the profile of the artists and creating opportunity for artistic development.
