Transitory Bonds

Transitory Bonds, immersive Public-art installation by Paula Valenzuela at Berlin Kindl Brewery area

While cultural institutions have been ordered to close in Germany during November 2020, Chilean artist, Paula Valenzuela Antúnez can still share her art with the public. She presents her immersive painting installation in an outdoor space, as the Vollgut Information Center has kindly given her the opportunity to exhibit her installation on their premises. The Chilean artist has been in Berlin for two months, working as a SomoS Artist-in-Residence, preparing a public art project in which she aims to initiate a discussion about migration and removing boundaries. With permeable, half-transparent walls that allow people to pass through effortlessly, her installation symbolizes this political goal perfectly.

Program:
The installation is accessible from November 15th to 20th 2020, uninterrupted. The artist will be present daily from 1- 4 pm. Entry is free.
The project is realized with the kind support of Vollgut and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Chile.
