Thomas Feuerstein - Prometheus Delivered

curated by Marc Wellmann

Berlin’s Haus am Lützowplatz shows the first show by artist Thomas Feuerstein (b. 1968, lives in Vienna) outside Austria. In his projects, the Austrian artist, who works at the intersection of applied and theoretical research, links epistemes from philosophy, art history, and literature with biotechnology, economics, and politics for an artistic narrative that explores questions of the existential basic parameters and the origins of life. A key aspect of PROMETHEUS DELIVERED is the deconstruction of the Greek myth on human creativity and hubris.

The exhibition is a collaboration with Munich’s Eres Stiftung and is being realized with the support of the Schering Stiftung, Berlin.
