In Kasia Fudakowski’s performance Sticks and stones may break my bones but real estate always appreciates, a piece created specially for TFPM, the audience is asked to re-evaluate a piece of wasteland as a potential plot for a home. In an abandoned place near Berlin Südkreuz railway station, an area of increasing real estate speculation, a noisy group of angry children intercepts a meeting between two real estate agents. ‚Armed’ with DIY instruments, the gang of children unambiguously proclaim their participation in the future.
