On August 8th, 2014 Das Gift presents new abstract paintings by American artist Kottie Paloma. The new works in his show titled "Say to the Flower" defines a new mark in his studio pracitce where gesture and emotion replaces form and text that was most notibale in his earlier paintings. In these new paintings we can see how meditation mixed with emotion layers the canvases with muted pinks, stark blacks and glitter splattered, rubbed and gestureally painted to form the compositions in these large new works.

Kottie Paloma "Say to the Flower" opens on Friday August 8th 2014 and runs till August 10th 2014
