Ming Lu: "Flat Packed Woman"

Ming Lu is heavily influenced by the female form and experience, utilizing everyday items to convey to the viewer the societal and cultural expectations forced upon this gender. Photography, sculpture, and installation culminate into an exhibition that shows insights on some of the artist's feelings on what it means to be a woman, or rather her fears of being a woman. Using personal experience as her basis, Ming draws together external sources to make meaning of experiences and inspirations. Open Wed-Sat 2-7PM
