Igor Hosnedl Ká Quills’ Room

Painting is always an extremely personal matter, which, however, does not only concern the artists. Depending on the emotional situation, each viewer can also find something very individual for him or herself. If one takes a longer look at Igor Hosnedl's own (idiosyncratic) painting, all emotions between disturbance and delight are possible! In any case, it will not leave you untouched. [...]

There are hardly any rough edges and corners – it almost seems as if Hosnedl wants to protect the figures. He can't (or doesn't want to) quite articulate it himself. Consequently, he leaves the viewers, who are longing for answers, wondering. Many things remain mysterious, and that is perhaps what ultimately makes Igor Hosnedl's painting so appealing.
