Book premiere by Jörg-Uwe Albig’s: Moralphobia

as part of Forcierte Relikte curated by SALVE Berlin with Barbara Breitenfellner, Susanne Bürner, Jérôme Chazeix, Alisa Heil, Ricarda Hoop, Nina Maria Küchler, Ole Meergans, Maximilian Rödel, Dirk Stewen, Katja Windau

Relic: remnant from a past time, or remnant from a previous of a former state, indicates being left behind, abandoned (Latin: rēlinquere). The curated works show traces of something greater or something that has disappeared. In doing so, the art production imitates, on the one hand, traces of past epochs: Rubble, remnants of civilization, etc. In some works, processes of aging are also artificially induced. On the material plays an essential role. As a medium used are used: quotes, collage, installation, sculpture, drawing, film, textile works.
