tiffs is a series of abstract animation movies made of digital picture files. Basic abstract forms are stepwise modified by graphic computer programs. The single pictures, Tiff-files, finally represent the movie in a line up of frames. The works are inspired by the seemingly virtual and clear impact of color through light. Simple structure of the story is a fast running chain of pictures in a formal progression. It is rather a kind of declination of progression within the program and its transformation- and dissolution options.
