Sonntag was started in 2012 by April Gertler and Adrian Schiesser. It is a social sculpture that takes place the third Sunday afternoon of every month in Berlin. For each Sonntag an artist is invited to show their work in Adrian’s apartment. The artist’s favorite cake is made by April and Adrian and is served with coffee and tea.
SONNTAG is a seasonal social sculpture originally conceived by April Gertler and Adrian Schiesser in 2012. SONNTAG showcases work by one artist while serving the artist's favorite cake with coffee and tea in a private apartment, usually in Berlin and always on a Sunday afternoon.
