Garage is a space that offers possibilities to research, rehearse, create, produce and present work in the fields of dance and performing arts. It invites people to go outside of traditional dance districts in Berlin looking for proximity to other fields such as visual arts, film and sound production. We encourage cross linked structures, diversity, reflection, exchange and collaboration. Garage is a place where practitioners, including performers, dancers, choreographers, lighting sound and stage designers, dramatists and visual artists can commit to looking for new ways of collaborating and creating.
