Archive Kabinett is the headquarters of Archive, an arts organisation with several strands, which include; Archive Books, an experimental publishers; Archive Appendix, a graphic design studio; Archive Journal. Archive Kabinett is where all of this is housed and an extension of our other activities. A space for cultural research and debate, Archive Kabinett aims to bring together cultural practitioners in a space with a non-hierarchal structure. Through exhibitions, screenings and lectures, we look to explore issues and ideas, which go alongside the work and research that we deal with in our other activities. With a focus of historical material we also hold a small archive of printed matter that is constantly being added to and reactivated. Archive Kabinett intends to be a space where anyone is free to go and make their own research. We welcome participation from outside the structure, and form collaborations with artists, filmmakers, writers, editors, and anyone else who is interested in our work.
