We cordially invite you to a pre-Christmas evening with mulled wine and snacks in the gallery.

In the context of an extended finissage of his exhibition "Daisy Bell“, Philip Grözinger will present a series of paper works (oil on paper) as well as a catalogue. These works were created in preparation for the exhibition. Grözinger found an old sketchpad of his father from the 80s in his studio. While brushing off the paint, he noticed the quality of the paper and began to sketch physiognomies for the exhibition. In the process, the sketches gradually gained a life of their own and thus not only provide insight into the working process of the exhibition, but also complement the exhibition as an independent series.

On this pre-Christmas evening Philip Grözinger invited his artist friend Jay Gard to present his Marcel Breuer stool B9, produced together with Thonet, as well as his new book "Form und Farbe". Some of the stools designed by Jay Gard are now part of the Bauhaus Dessau collection. The book "Form und Farbe" shows a large part of Jay Gard's work, as well as many sketches and works that have already been destroyed. These destroyed works as a process are an important part of Jay Gard's work.
