What became obvious after the fact is the first solo exhibition by artist Maria Wallace. These images chronicle the feelings of discomfort that arise during the transitional period between youth and adulthood, and the reality of starting a new life in a foreign city. The work reflects the sorrow, love, and hope that come with growing up, along with discovering the weight of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
