The exhibition captures a sense of future visions for human-animal relations. The anonymous artists collective NEOZOON turns the exhibition hall into a research laboratory of an unknown species reflecting daily practices of turning animals into clothing. The art activists Lissette Olivares & Cheto Castellano documented kiltros, street dogs in Santiago de Chile – companion species in cultural life. In her video installation Lucy Powell gives voice to animated cat heads localising intelligence and feeling in unkonwn time and bodies. For his utopian landscapes Uli Westphal uses the same methods as in standard packaging design, the resulting imagery stands in harsh contrast to the actual makeup and workings of our industrialized food system.
