This is a show about Failure. Tomasz Kobialka is a painter who has failed at painting.
For his first show at Das Gift, the artist will present a series of failed works. These are not bad artworks per se, but works that have been abandoned, left behind and forgotten about - like that great party you went to in 2003.
It is only when we accept our failures can we being the process of healing, the process of learning from our mistakes and moving on. Hopefully.
