THRESHOLDING

Saturday 15 August, from 8 pm
In honour of the Perseids, the meteor shower visible from Berlin every August, artist Kate Donovan will give a MicroFM radio transmission that can be listened to throughout the garden while lying on the earth and looking up at the sky. It is a meditation on the liminal moments between day and night, the meteors as they mark the threshold between the planetary atmosphere and outer space, and radio as a practice of betweens. 

The transmission will be in English and runs from 8:31 pm to 11:01 pm

Be sure to bring a portable FM radio if you have one!
