Galv Fountain by STEVEN BURKE explores the impact of human influence on our urban environment. The exhibition reflects the great and rapid changes we have been experiencing in our cities for years. Burke sees the city as a ready-made that needs to be recycled. His focus is primarily on the so-called security architecture in public places. In his studio, he transforms found objects into artifacts that provoke an irritation that they no longer have in their original context - but should actually have.
