She, He, and It
Discussing AI and journalism from a Global South perspective.
Artificial intelligence has become one of the main topics of 2023, and the use of AI in newsrooms around the world is rising. But will using AI lead to better journalism and what are the labour conditions behind it, especially in the Global South??
This Friday, we invite you to the panel discussion “She, He and It” organized by @mena.art.gallery, @untoldstories_com and the Syrian Female Journalists Network (@sfjnetwork)on the impact of AI on Journalism from a Global South perspective.
The event will invite experts who will try, if not to give answers, to clarify what we could expect from the future. The panel focussed on topics such as the impact of AI on journalism in authoritarian systems, the status of evidence images, feminist movements in the MENA region, as well as the labour conditions behind it.
