Potsdamer Platz – Ernst Ludwig Kirchner und Paul Klee
Potsdamer Platz – Ernst Ludwig Kirchner und Paul Klee
The starting point for this exhibition is the famous painting “Potsdamer Platz”, which Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880—1938) began painting just before the outbreak of World War I.
In addition, ten drawings by Paul Klee (1879-1940) will be shown that he has created as illustrations for the 1918-1919 expressionist novel Potsdamer Platz or The Nights of the New Messiah by the Berliner writer Curt Corrinth (1894-1960).
