The brilliantly made mockumentary “The Centrifuge Brain Project” by digital artist, designer and filmmaker Till Nowak (1980). Dr. Nick Laslowicz, a mad scientist from the “Institute for Centrifugal Research (ICR)” (a fake institution needles to say) recounts his “achievements in the realms of brain manipulation, excessive G-Force and prenatal simulations”. After stating that “gravity is a mistake” Dr. Laslowicz presents a series of increasingly terrifying and equally absurd roller coasters that fling passengers into the sky in an attempt to theoretically improve their cognitive function. “These machines provide total freedom, cutting all connection from the world you live in,” Laslowicz says in the video. “Communication, responsibility, weight – everything is on hold while you’re being centrifuged.”
