Painting Forever! KEILRAHMEN at KW Institute for Contemporary Art brings together more than 70 pieces by contemporary painters who work or have worked in Berlin. The exhibition shows positions by established and unknown artists who deal with subjects specific to painting, such as light and composition, engage with the materiality of painting, or survey the possibilities of the panel picture. Using the classical form of the large-scale exhibition from the 18th and 19th century, the show highlights both individual works and the relationships between them.
