HaL shows the first Berlin institutional solo show of the renowned Cologne-based painter Oliver Jordan. His monumental landscapes of the industrial region around Essen are created in a special technique. On one hand realistic, the artist textures the surface with an abstract and gestural layer that enhances their spectacular vividness.
