The Ministry of Compassion invites you to the garden of Oyoun. The ministers of the collective, which offers empathetic resistance against social coldness and the brutalization of language, answer questions on the topics of compassion, empathy and grief. The artistic language game of speech and answer follows a precise choreography: 5 minutes of reflection, then 5 minutes each for expressing thoughts on an equal footing and with mutual respect. It is the questions of all those involved that open up a common space for thought.
20: 30-21: 30 pm
Concert Vincent Bababoutilabos "Rosa Shakur" feat. Vanessa Opoku
Vincent Bababoutilabo is a Berlin and Leipzig based musician, author and activist at the interface between art and politics. With his friends Philip Theurer and Rahel Hutter he forms the band "Rosa Shakur". The music elegantly combines anti-racist, Afro-diasporic perspectives from 10 years of activism with sounds somewhere between Nina Simone, Tirzah and David Bowie. Artist Vanessa Opoku lights up the stage with stunning live visuals that make the whole thing an unforgettable artistic impression.
