Andrea J. Grote, Yuki Jungesblut, Liz Dawson, Vivian Eckstein, and Hans-Peter Stark, all new members of the Axel Obiger project space team, use a variety of media to examine the interaction of different levels of materiality. The exhibition brings together works in which a linkage of painting, photography, objects, installation, and the performative creates multi-layered formal and thematic references that extend across the practices of the five artists.
