Gebt Allen Sozialhilfe by GAS Kollektiv

During our move, the distribution collective GAS will ensure that you don't have to do without art. From Thursday to Monday, we will be presenting the light installation Gebt Allen Sozialleistungen by the collective consisting of Daniel Gottlieb, Jackie Grassmann and Ernst Markus Stein in our windows facing the Tor-/Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße intersection.
Gebt Allen Sozialleistungen is a continuous video loop of acronyms of the letters G, A and S, in which the letters unfold into phrases, slogans and maxims that oscillate between sense and nonsense. The letters temporarily form weak clusters of meaning, fade and briefly return to their elementary components before dissolving into new, fleeting messages.
 
 
Parallel, the collective is presenting work from the last two years at KM am Mehringplatz. The focus is on the serialised novel project GAS, oder eine kontinuierliche Reise in zehn Entgleisungen, written by Verena Buttmann, Sophia Eisenhut, Jan Erbelding, Daniel Gottlieb, Jackie Grassmann, Max Grau, Heike Geißler, Olga Hohmann, Romy Rüegger and Annette Weisser.
