Within its Cycle II, focused on relationships, networks and connections, insitu welcomes curator Tina Sauerländer to take over its 4th Framework. Aiming to analyze different forms of relationships, ways of communication and possibilities to form connections insitu is glad to welcome an exhibition that focuses on an unusual bond: for a certain period in their careers the artists Jennifer Oellerich and Prajakta Potnis developed almost the same works without knowing about each other – one living in Berlin and the other based in Mumbai, India.

The exhibition «Across the lines » brings together works dealing with the variable, unfixed or ephemeral states of parting lines. Since 2011 both artists have been exchanging emails and met for the first time some months ago in Berlin. The exhibition explores the development of similarities and differences in the works of the two artists who both worked with walls and watermarks at the same time in different parts of the world.
