foris is the encounter between the works of three artists: Katharina Albers (*1985), Nina Röder (*1983) and Hirofumi Fujiwara (*1984). The Latin term from which Forst, forest and forêt are derived, describes an outside space, an open counterpart to a structured, molded culture. With different approaches, the artists reflect about the forest as a mythical border to foreign worlds, as well as a metaphor for the complex emotional spheres of the modern individual.
