With „Episode 3: Cézanne beats Pollock“ insitu presents works that reflect and discuss mechanisms of the art market as well as the art system itself. Especially for young artists it can be difficult to position themselves within a strongly competative art system. Out of the often ambivalent situation in which artists find themselves: trying to produce independent and authentic art works while being dependent and influenced by rules of gallerists, curators, the audience or collectors, art system itself got a possible topic of art production.
