In his conceptual photographs and installation works, Ulrich Gebert focuses on the culturally influenced relationship to nature and his environment. The installations, as well as the photographs arranged in series and wall tableaus bear witness of a critical and humorous confrontation.  In "Eigenface", Ulrich Gebert explores a fairly new visual phenomenon: what used to be reserved for the privilege of intelligence services is now being ubiquitous distribution of digital end devices increasingly determines our private and public, digital and analogue space - facial recognition.
