Last artist talk as part of the exhibition "KUNST KANN - Insights into contemporary artistic attitudes", with the artist Marco Schmitt who will also give and a subsequent COA CHING workshop. Participation is possible live via zoom for unlimited participants. Dr. Marc Wellmann, artistic director of Haus am Lützowplatz and co-curator of the exhibition will conduct an introductory interview. You can register for the workshop here

In his COA CHING workshop, Schmitt invites the participants to embark on a mental journey with him in his installation “Grenzgewölbe”. The image of an illusionistic room model that is on a partition display can be entered mentally. It is a digital 3D simulation of a virtual space and illustrates a psychological method developed by Schmitt for the awareness of unconscious structures and the integration of visual thinking. With Schmitt's guidance, the participants can explore a way to their inner and unconscious safe and free its contents. Unconscious complexes and blockages can be found in this safe as well as the potential of free and creative thinking. In the metabolism of the self and the world, the participants can transform themselves and act creatively in their imagination and create a light and free-floating intellectual work of art.
