Anna Roura – Lost Babies
Lost Babies is an ongoing compilation of some of the most controversial political leaders – whether alive or dead, historically condemned or still in power. By contrasting their childhood portraits with statements they made as adults, the question emerges: When does innocence turn into tyranny? The exhibition is based on the self-published book Lost Babies (2018– ongoing) and expands its archive into a spatial installation. Portraits and quotes are presented separately, inviting visitors to navigate between image and language, memory and power. The compilation remains incomplete. Visitors are invited to expand it.
